Hawaii Trip

We just got back from a wonderful family vacation in Hawaii! It was amazing, as Hawaii usually is. We stayed at the Westin in Maui which has the BEST beds and showers! We went to a really cool luau, tons of beaches, swam in the pool, snorkeled with the turtles, and much more. The best part of the trip was when the guys surprised the girls with a day at the spa. It was amazing and SO relaxing. It was great to spend time with the family. Thanks Mom and Dad for treating us to such a great vacation! I was not looking forward to returning home. When we arrived at our house, that all changed. My friend Lindsay, house sat for us and as always out did herself. She had our entire house professionally cleaned from top to bottom, my house has never been so immaculate before. Girl scout cookies and fresh flowers were there too! Thanks Lindsay! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation.

The Baby Whisperer

Yesterday I tried Lincoln in the Exersaucer for the first time. He is getting much stronger and able to hold his head up pretty good. Gavin loves this thing so I've been anxious to see how Lincoln likes it. I sat next to him for the first few minutes...playing with him and showing him how all the toys work. Then I got up and went to the kitchen to start dinner. As I am washing the veggies in the sink, I look up to check on Lincoln, (from my sink I have a perfect view if the exersaucer). He is completely still! OMG! I take a deep breath as my heart stops and look again, no movement. CRAP! I run over to him to find him sleeping. I couldn't believe it, he fell asleep! What a good boy, without a peep, he just laid his head down for a little cat nap! What a cutie!!

Cardinals VS Steelers

We went to my parents house yesterday to watch Superbowl. We had a great time, ate way too much food, and even won some money...actually GAVIN won some money!

Way to go Steelers!

Bath Time

The boys favorite thing to do is take a bath. Anytime they're fussy and I think I'm out of ideas, I remember... BATH...it works every time. They absolutely love it! Afterward I put on these adorable robes, thanks Kelli Miller!

Got Dirt?

Last weekend we went out to the Salton Sea with our good friends Ryan and DeNay and their adorable 3 kids Ryan, Kody, and Brooklyn. We had a blast! We rode motorcycles, grubbed delicious food, and roasted s'mores over our burning Christmas Tree! It was a weekend to remember!

That's Dusty under all those blankets... taking a nap.

9 months

Gavin and Lincoln turned 9 months old yesterday. I can't believe it! Where did the last nine months go? It flew by. Why couldn't those nine months or pregnancy fly my this fast? Wait a minute, I guess it was only 7 months. Anywhoo... their first birthday is approaching quickly which I am NOT looking forward to. They are growing up way to quick!

Speaking of growing up - the boys have all kinds of new tricks. Gavin weighs 19 pounds; he is a heffer! He is sitting up on his own. He rolls over every once in a while, not because he can't but because he is mello and doesn't care to. He eats rice cereal, oatmeal, and his favorite, veggies! He makes quite the mess. His first word was DA-DA! He says it all day long.

Lincoln weighs 13 pounds now. He is starting to catch up. He loves to roll over. As soon as I set him down he rolls right over to his tummy. He sleeps on his tummy with his little butt in the air - it is too cute! He is starting to babble and makes the cutest noises. He had surgery yesterday to repair his hernias. Everything went well. He is one tough cookie! I was able to spend the night with him at the hospital and never left his side.
