El Capitan

We spent a weekend camping at El Capitan State Beach. We had never been to this campground before so we were a little nervous but we loved it and will definitely go back soon!

We began our road trip up north on Friday night and stopped at our friend Jason's new surf shop. We were impressed! He reopened the shop and gave us a late night tour. We picked up some new surf gear as well!

W.O.L.V.E.S. Surf Shop

we reserved a group camping site and stayed with 7 other families. It was a blast. The group site has tons of room. Here is our set up...

Dustin loves the ocean and couldn't pass up the opportunity to kayak. There was a large crowd on the beach that cheered him on. It was fun to watch him make it over some waves and get clobbered by others.

The campground was a great place for riding bikes.

We stumbled upon this natural garden of wildflowers that was beautiful,

Great trees for climbing,

and a super cool rope swing

By the end of the day we were all exhausted!

We cherish these kind of trips with our family :)
Thanks to our friends the Millers and Duffins and our family, Mel, Eric, Nick, Les, Mom and Dad for being troopers and taking this trip with us. We had a great time!!

Our Solimar Beach Vacation

I have been having a hard time finding time to update my blog. So here is what we have been up to lately...

Memorial Day weekend we were treated to wonderful vacation at Solimar Beach in Ventura. I'm am in love with this beach! We spent 4 days at the beach, playing in the sand, riding bikes, roasting s'mores by the campfire and best of all visiting with family. Thank you Mom and Dad for spoiling us :)

Sweet Sienna

Sienna is already 3 months old. She is getting big way too fast! She has changed so much. Her hair is falling out and new lighter hair is coming in. She is smiling and cooing. She even giggles here and there! She sleeps 8-10 hours at night. She hold up her head and started rolling over last week. This little girl is such a HAM! When she smiles she raises her eyebrows; it's adorable! One thing that hasn't changed is what an easy baby she is.

I am loving every second with her. I love cuddling up with her and getting her dressed up!
