Gavin's Christmas Program

Gavin's preschool, Water of Life, held a Christmas Program on Monday night. Dusty and I were excited to see what was in store. There were a TON of three and four year old kids. They sang a couple Christmas carols including Joy to the World. Gavin was very shy but did an excellent job!

Celebrating with Friends

Let the Festivities Begin!

We have been busy with Christmas parties and merry gatherings. I was invited to spend the day with Lincoln at his preschool, Oralingua, last Friday.

First the kids made some Christmas crafts.

Then we gathered around the table for a party with yummy treats for the kids. Later we went to a larger room and joined the rest of the preschool and kindergarden classes for a performance.

Each class sang a Christmas song. It s was too cute! Lincoln didn't sing much; he was so shy. But he did stand their looking handsome as ever.

A surprise visitor, Santa Clause joined us. He called each student up to sit on his lap and gave them a special gift.

They exchanged gifts with their classmates and teachers. Here is a picture of Lincoln's teachers who he and I adore! (Ms. Tracy & Ms. Debbie)

Lincoln and I had a wonderful day!

Hijacked

A couple nights ago, the boys snuck into our bed after we put them to bed and went down stairs to watch a movie. We found them cuddling like this a couple hours later :)

Our trip to the North Pole

We traveled to the North Pole (well actually, Williams, AZ) this weekend, for a vacation with the Flemings and Waltons. We rented a beautiful log cabin that was nestled in the woods on 8 acres.

The weather was perfect! A light snow fell almost the entire time we were there. The kids loved playing in the snow, sledding, snowball fighting, and being with their cousins and friends.

The best part of our trip was a ride in the Polar Express.

A beautiful train took us to the North Pole while feeding us delicious cookies and hot chocolate.

Santa hopped in the train with us and visited every child giving them each a silver jingle bell to take home. It was a very special night!

Thankful

I am so thankful for the many blessing I have in my life. A loving husband who works hard. Two sweet sons. A baby girl growing inside me. Supportive and loving family. Many many friends. A wonderful home. The list just goes on and on....

Our Thanksgiving was great this year. We had a relaxing day at my parents house and were joined by Dusty's parents as well. Our group was large and rowdy when we all gathered but we shared yummy food, watched football, and visited with loved ones. It was wonderful!
