Lake Mead

We took a trip to Lake Mead with my family and the Millers a couple weeks ago. We stayed in a funky town called Meadview. The kids had so much fun! It has been a couple years since the boys have been and this was Sienna first trip. Gavin loved swimming and playing on the sandy beach. Lincoln loved driving and riding in the boat. Sienna loved being in the water too!

Stud Muffin

Lincoln is such a stud muffin! He just finished his first year of preschool at Oralingua. He worked so hard and it has paid off. His vocabulary has increased tremendous in the last year. He loves to count and counts to 20. He loves music and dancing especially the Good Morning Song. He can name all the kids in his class (I guess he is a social butterfly like his Dad). He adores his teachers who he will miss tremendously next year. Best of all, he loves going to school. His school is closed for summer vacation (yeah! Let the fun begin) for the month of August. Lincoln has been asking if he can go to school everyday since. We are SO proud of this little guy!!

Mr. Independence

This summer has held many big changes for this big guy. Gavin can ride his bike without training wheels. He has been practicing for a couple weeks and can stop and start on his own. He has also learned to swim independently. He is such a fish in the water and loves it!! There is no going back to floaties or training wheels for this brave guy!!
